| The main goal of Minesweeper is to mark every field with a mine below - but without opening it - and uncover every field without a mine.

| The only help you, the player, have are numbers on most of the mineless fields where the value of the number equals the amount of mines that are under the surrounding fields:
        
Note that these are only examples. They WON'T lay like this most of the time you're sweeping.

| The higher the number the smaller the possibility of appearance of the number. If you only play the standard settings you will probably never encounter the 7 and the 8 but there's still a slight possibility.
